SafeSchools.us - Safer buses, classrooms, and offices!

Think of school radios.......                            as personal wireless intercoms. There are two types- portable (sometimes referred to as Walkie Talkies or Handhelds) and fixed (also known as base stations - we call them Stationary Radio Units or SRU's). The whole idea of school radios is to provide instant connectivity between key people - Principals, Assistant Principals, School Nurse, Housekeeping, Security (or burly staff members), Teachers in portable classrooms, and in some instances, directly with outside law enforcement agencies (SeeThe Button by clicking on the Access and Alarm Reporting section at the top of this page).

You can find more information about SRU's at www.usa-radio1.com/prices/basestations. The stations offered on this link are on our USA Radio web site, a Falcon Direct associated company. Additional information at www.info4u.us/SchoolRadios.pdf will provide more information on our portable radios. We will provide a side-by-side comparison of our three most popular portable radios used for schools. Obviously, these are not our only offerings.

We offer top quality portable radios by HYT, ICOM, Midland, Motorola, Relm, and TEKK. If you have special needs, just let us know. In the meantime, if you are in Alabama, you may be interested to know that the full line of Midland portable and mobile radios is available on the Alabama State Contract.
